I want to bring the A4 Study into your awareness.

The A4 study is a clinical trial for older individuals who may be at risk for Alzheimer's disease (AD). The study aims to prevent the memory loss associated with Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

In other words, in this clinical trial they are looking for people who might be predisposed to Alzheimer's disease but are not yet evidencing Alzheimer's.

Imagine this. You enter this clinical trial in an effort to help discover a treatment that might delay memory loss. The key words here - delay memory loss. How do you think you would have felt, or feel, if the onset of dementia was delayed by five years or longer in your loved one?

If you are a member of the Alzheimer's dementia community you should consider entering this clinical trial.

One thousand qualified candidates are needed. The sooner the clinical trial gets fully underway, the sooner we find out if this investigation will lead to a drug that prevents

Memory Loss.

A note from Bob DeMarco. I am not yet old enough to enter this clinical trial. However, if I was, I would immediately call and find out if I was a viable candidate for this clinical trial. There are no costs associated with this trial - it is free to you.

The A4 study is being funded by the National Institute on Aging/NIH, Eli Lilly and Company, and several philanthropic organizations. The A4 trial is coordinated by the Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study, located at the University of California, San Diego.

If you know someone that might consider this clinical trial please send this information to them.
