Generic Aricept, Ranbaxy Ready to Launch Generic Aricept On November 29?

Four separate sources in India are reporting that Ranbaxy has received approval to market a generic version of Aricept (donepezil hydrochloride) in the U.S.

One source indicates that the drug could launch as early as tomorrow.

There is no confirmation of this news on the Ranbaxy website, or on the U.S. website for Ranbaxy.

I'll update this story when it becomes official from the FDA and Ranbaxy.
